Each year the women of our church get together for “Mug ‘n Muffin.” It’s a time set aside to get together in a relaxed atmosphere and connect with one another over muffins and a hot beverage. The term “mug ‘n muffin” sounds so cozy and inviting, doesn’t it? Recently Udis’ Gluten Free Foods sent me a package of Double Chocolate Muffins. Since it’s the most wonderful time of the year I thought why not have a Mug ‘n Muffin get-together of my own? I have plenty of holiday mugs and these favorite Christmas dessert plates (from Mary Lake-Thompson Ltd). With such delicious muffins available (which are also safe for my friends who are gluten intolerant) it would be so easy.
Just put on a pot of coffee, heat up some cider and the party would practically make itself!
One bite into these scrumptious double chocolate muffins (can you see the big chunks of chocolate? Yum!) and I’m certain that eveyone would be glad they were there. Udi’s also offeres gluten-free blueberry muffins (I saw them in the frozen foods section at the grocery store last week). That would be a nice addition, too.
Hmmmmm…..where’s my address book? I think need to send out a few little invitations. Maybe you’d like to do the same?
