Who doesn’t love snickerdoodles? Chewy and sweet with a little touch of cinnamon, they are a favorite for lunch boxes as well as pot lucks. You may have seen in my other posts that I was pretty happy when Udi’s Gluten Free sent me some of their fabulous foods to try. Snicker Doodle Cookies were included and, oh my goodness, they are so good!
How can something gluten free be so delectable? I may never bake my own again!
Once I got over the rapture that my taste buds were experiencing I realized that something more must be done with these delicious morsels. These cookies seemed like a perfect topping for warm apple crisp. So I quickly put one together and, YES, it was sooooooo good! Sitting on my stove to cool, it sure didn’t last long. Everyone in the house loved it.
It’s crunch time now that Christmas is right around the corner. But don’t let that stop you from having dessert ready for your family or if friends stop by. This is so unbelievably easy and the flavor is definitely holiday compatible!
